Randle General Hospital, Surulere, in collaboration with Howes Consulting Group, has organised a training on Agile Business Transformation (ABT) for members of the Hospital Management Committee and key administrative staff.
According to the organisers, the training was part of the hospital’s commitment to strengthening institutional capacity and enhancing service delivery.
The training, held on Saturday, July 25, 2026, at The Zone Hub, Gbagada-Oworonshoki Expressway, was said to be part of the hospital’s strategic efforts to build a resilient, innovative, and high-performing workforce capable of responding effectively to the evolving demands of healthcare delivery.
Welcoming participants, the Medical Director/Chief Executive Officer of Randle General Hospital, Surulere, Dr. Lateefat Agbaje, described the initiative as a deliberate investment in the hospital’s most valuable resource, emphasising that continuous learning and professional development remain essential to achieving excellence in healthcare service delivery.
“Our people are our greatest strength, and investing in their continuous growth is essential to delivering quality healthcare services,” she said.
The Medical Director noted that the rapidly changing healthcare landscape demands professionals who are equipped with the right knowledge, skills and leadership capacity to meet emerging challenges and improve patient outcomes.

To consolidate the gains of the training, the hospital, in collaboration with Howes Consulting Group, officially launched the GH Randle Agile Business Transformation Learning Platform, a dedicated Knowledge Sharing System designed to promote continuous learning, collaboration and professional development among members of staff.
The digital platform connects hospital personnel with consultants from Howes Consulting Group, providing participants with round-the-clock access to learning resources, project updates, leadership materials, online surveys and other knowledge management tools that support institutional growth and operational effectiveness.
Dr. Agbaje reaffirmed that the Agile Business Transformation initiative aligns with the hospital’s vision of strengthening institutional capacity, enhancing workforce productivity and delivering efficient, patient-centred healthcare services in line with global best practices.
Participants at the training appreciated the Medical Director for organising what they described as timely and impactful healthcare training that was truly enlightening, value-adding, and thought-provoking.
According to them, the training has further strengthened their understanding of empathy, patient satisfaction, and the importance of delivering compassionate healthcare.
In the same vein, the trainer, Prof. Baale, was commended for the engaging, practical, and inspiring presentation, especially for his ability to relate the topics to daily practice and relatable scenarios.
The various topics treated during the training include: Introduction to Emotional Intelligence in Healthcare & Components of EI, Self-Awareness & Emotional Regulation, Empathy & Compassionate Care, Effective Communication in Healthcare, Emotional Intelligence & Litigation Prevention, Clinical Governance, and Tenets & Ethics.
