The President of the National Association of Nigerian Students, Akinteye Babatunde, popularly known as Babtee, has appointed a Chief of Staff and 31 other aides to serve in various capacities in the association.
Babtee announced the appointments in a statement dated June 6, 2026, saying, “In exercise of the powers vested in me as the President of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), I hereby effect the following appointments.”
According to the statement posted on his Facebook page, Adegoke Naheen Ademola was appointed Chief of Staff, while Alo Alex emerged as Principal Private Secretary and Geo. Ogunjimi Tolulope James as Chief Press Secretary.
Olusesi Tolulope Samson was named Deputy Chief of Staff, Adejorin Tai Manuel was appointed Director of Students Empowerment, while Odunlami Babatunde and Salami Rasheed were named Personal Assistants.
Other appointees include Adeleke Qowiyy Taiwo as Head of Domestic Affairs, Saleeman Yusuf Issah (ACA, AAT) as Director of Strategy and Programs, Ajibade Qudus as Head of Media and Publicity, Oni Olasunkanmi as Director of Welfare and Logistics, and Daniel O. Oyeniyi as Director of Diaspora and International Students Affairs, among others.
Expressing confidence in the appointees, Babtee said, “Without a doubt, I have full confidence in each of you to deliver effectively in your respective responsibilities.”
“I warmly congratulate you all, and as we move forward, I charge you to remain committed to excellence and to the overall advancement of Nigerian students, whose mandate rests with us.
“Please accept the assurances of my highest esteem and regards,” he added.
