The newly appointed Senior Special Assistant-designate to the Ondo State Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, has expressed appreciation to the governor for giving him the opportunity to serve in his administration.
Obajulaye, who hails from Irele Local Government Area of the state, described the appointment as a demonstration of Aiyedatiwa’s confidence in his ability to contribute to the development of Ondo State.
In a statement on Monday, the appointee thanked the governor for considering him worthy of the responsibility, promising to justify the confidence reposed in him.
He said the appointment was not only a personal honour but also a recognition of the people of Irele Local Government Area and their contributions to the development of the state.
Obajulaye said, “I am deeply grateful to His Excellency, Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa, for finding me worthy of this appointment. I do not take the confidence reposed in me for granted.
“I see this appointment as a call to greater service and an opportunity to contribute my quota to the development of Ondo State and the success of this administration.”
He pledged his loyalty and commitment to the Aiyedatiwa administration, adding that he would discharge his responsibilities with diligence, humility and integrity.
The SSA-designate also expressed appreciation to the people of Irele Local Government, political leaders, family members, friends and supporters who, he said, had stood by him and continued to encourage him.
He assured the people of Irele and Ondo State that he would remain accessible and committed to advancing the interests of the people.
Obajulaye further congratulated Governor Aiyedatiwa on his administration’s efforts to foster inclusive governance, saying that the appointment had strengthened his resolve to serve the state diligently.
He called on the people of Irele Local Government and Ondo State to continue to support the governor’s administration, stressing that collective support was necessary for the state to achieve sustainable development.
